Also one of the shoes for the fins was falling appart already.įirst I got a wetsut 3 mm (22° celcius) which was a little chilled, especially with the different wholes in the back allowing the water to come in in the centre of the body. For the last two reef dives we got real diver fins, but the fixture was provisionally repaired with a cable tie. When it comes to the quality of the equipment, only the mask was ok all the way.įor the dives we were equiped with short and cheap snorkeling fins. We are advanced diveres and were doing 7 dives during 3 days including SS Thistlegorm as an very advanced (inside) wreck dive site. We want to share our experience with Blue Planet Divers we had in 2023. I can’t thank him enough for such an incredible experience that I wish to do again many times over. Hassan took me into the water and was just amazing the whole way through. The briefing beforehand was extremely informative and they made sure we all felt confident and comfortable before any of us entered the water. A few of the group were really very frightened but Tito kept them calm and reassured enough that they ended up having an amazing time. Tito and another guy lead a large group of us out to do some snorkelling. Tito and the team kept us well informed about the plan of action for the day and managed to keep everyone happy, even when they were feeling very sea sick lol. The sea was unfortunately a little rough. He introduced everyone to the rest of his team and he was extremely helpful and great with the kids. His English was incredible and he made the whole group feel at ease. We were then greeted (as a group) by one of the instructors (Tito) He was fantastic. Apprehensive about the day, I just sat with my son and we enjoyed the sea and the sun.
After a little wait, we found our name on the correct sheet and found our group. We got to the marina and wow, it was busy. It was the first time I had left the hotel with my 10yr old son during the holiday (day 3 - 20th April), I was slightly nervous and a little unsure of what was going on.
